Data Retention and Purging on the Elven Platform
At Elven Platform, we handle data with seriousness and responsibility. That’s why we’ve adopted a retention and purge policy that balances performance, security, and the real needs of our clients.
How long is the data available?
The events you see directly on the platform remain available for up to 1 year.
The data stored in our Data Lake (hot layer) is retained for up to 5 years.
After this period, the data is automatically removed, we do not store anything beyond this timeframe.
This means you’ll always have access to what truly matters, without overloading the platform with outdated or unnecessary data.
How does the data purge work?
The purge process (permanent data removal) occurs in two main situations:
Upon request: If you want your data to be deleted before the standard retention period, simply make the request through Elven’s support channels.
Contract termination: If the contract is terminated, all data related to your account will be securely purged.
The entire process is carried out carefully, following security best practices and ensuring that nothing is left behind.
Commitment to privacy
Our policy complies with the LGPD and was designed to ensure:
The privacy of your data;
Transparency about what we store and for how long;
Ease for you to request deletion whenever you want.
Important to remember:
Once the data is purged, it cannot be recovered.
If you need to export or access any data before the deletion deadline, just reach out to us.
